The pizza factory Story

Pizza factory was born in 2005 from a simple obsession: making the perfect pizza. Founder Marco DiLorenzo grew up watching his grandmother stretch dough in her Naples kitchen, and he carried that love across the Atlantic to North Andover, Massachusetts. With a single wood-fired oven, a handful of locally sourced ingredients, and an unshakeable belief that great pizza could change someone's day, the first slice of pizzafactory history was served.

2005

The First Oven

Marco DiLorenzo opens Pizza factory on Chickering Rd with a single wood-fired oven, 5 menu items, and a dream of bringing authentic Neapolitan pizza to North Andover.

2009

Community Recognition

Voted "Best Pizza in North Andover" by local readers for the first time. Expanded the dining room to accommodate the growing number of regulars who made us their weekly tradition.

2013

Catering & Delivery Launch

Launched our catering service and in-house delivery program, bringing the pizaa factory experience to offices, events, and homes across the greater North Andover area.

2018

Full Kitchen Renovation

Invested in a state-of-the-art kitchen with new Neapolitan-style ovens, expanding our capacity and allowing us to introduce specialty seasonal menus and craft beverages.

2022

Online Ordering Goes Live

Launched pizzafactorynow.rest, giving customers a seamless way to order online. Digital orders now account for over 40% of our weekly volume.

2025

20 Years & Going Strong
